Sam Franzini is a writer based in Washington, DC.
I have finished a novel and am available for representation.
I’m a new music editor at The Line of Best Fit and a staff writer at Northern Transmissions and Atwood Magazine. I contribute book reviews to Spectrum Culture and author interviews to Our Culture Mag. My recent journalism has been featured in NYLON, Shondaland, Office Mag, Xtra Magazine, Clash, and Hey Alma, and my fiction has been published in After Dinner Conversation and Cosmorama.
I am a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I earned a B.S. in Psychological & Brain Sciences and minored in Professional Writing. I was an editorial assistant at Flaunt, a fashion and culture magazine based in Los Angeles.
For my university’s newspaper, The Daily Nexus, I reviewed music, books, TV, and wrote satire. For Flaunt, I wrote web content, interviewed celebrities, fact-checked, and contributed regularly to the print edition.
My comedy writing has been featured in Points in Case and Flexx Magazine.
